Pastoral Care/Student Wellbeing

St Joseph's Primary is a learning community that promotes student wellbeing, safety and positive relationships so that students can reach their full potential. We provide every student with the strongest foundation possible, enabling them to reach the fullness of life. We achieve this through teaching, modelling and promoting the values of SAFETY, RESPECT, EFFORT and RESPONSIBILITY.

Students are active participants in their own learning and wellbeing allowing them to learn and use their social and emotional skills to be respectful, resilient and safe.

We proactively build collaborative relationships with families to create a shared understanding of how to support student learning, safety and wellbeing. Actively seek the involvement of school staff, students and families in the promotion and recognition of positive behaviour through classroom and whole school awards. Ultimately, all students will feel connected, safe and secure.
